Services and Prices
Endless creative options are now available thanks to the IntelliQuilter
computerized robotic quilting systems installed on both of my APQS Millenium long arm machines.

 

Quilting prices are calculated based upon a charge per square inch.
To the find the square inch measurement of your quilt top,
multiply the length by the width of the quilt. Items A-D reflect quilting labor.
Extra charges apply for thread, batting, binding, or other special services.

Basic Custom
Border plus “all-over”
2˘ per square inch
Adds a border to an all-over design, complex pantographs, small meandering or stippling, limited stitch-in-the-ditch or stitch-over-the-ditch.
Creative Custom
3˘ per square inch
Coordinating quilting designs in blocks, multiple patterns, borders, or stitch-in-the-ditch.
Designer Heirloom
price determined based
upon the density and
complexity of the quilting.
Coordinating designs including feathers, circles, paisley, cables, cross-hatching; dense stippling, textures or fillers, McTavishing; trapunto, extensive stitch-in-the-ditch, outlining, multiple borders or separate sashing designs 
Extras Basting for the hand-quilter done in 4” rows and easy to remove ($30.00 minimum) ˝˘ per
square inch
Half Binding – machine stitched to the front to be turned and hand-stitched by the client 10˘ per linear inch
Complete Binding – machine stitched to the front and hand stitched to the back 30˘ per linear inch
Thread – Cotton, Poly or Specialty Threads $4-$12
Thread Changes  $2 each (not to exceed $20) $2 per change
Miscellaneous Labor Charges

$20 per hour
Batting – Hobbs 80/20
(unbleached, bleached and black)
Hobbs 100% Cotton
Hobbs Tuscany Silk and Tuscany Wool
Priced per linear inch

For Best Results:
Batting and backing should be 8 inches longer and wider than quilt top.
(Example: 60" x 80" quilt top = 68" x 88" backing)

Square and press all backings and quilt tops. Trim loose threads.

Please Note: Excess fullness may cause puckers and tucks when quilted.
